What is the difference between a breathalyzer and a calculator?
The calculator processes the entered data and assumptions. A breathalyzer is a breath sample measuring device. Therefore, these are not two ways of obtaining the same type of data.
What does the calculator do
Has no sensor or biological sample. It estimates the level based on drinks, weight and time. Its deviation cannot be determined only by the number of decimal places.
What does the device do
The result of the instrument depends on the type, calibration and use according to its instructions. This website does not verify specific devices or take on the role of official measurement.
Check the units
the blood alcohol concentration (‰) of the model and the mg/l reading in the breath are not identical quantities. AlcoCalc does not offer a universal legal conversion between them.
Result and ride
A zero calculator estimate is not legal proof or endorsement of fitness to drive.
