How much alcohol is in wine?
A glass of wine is not a fixed unit. The amount of ethanol varies with both the serving size and the concentration on the label.
Examples at 12% ABV
100 ml of wine contains approximately 9.5 g of ethanol, 150 ml 14.2 g and 250 ml 23.7 g. This is a calculation of the amount in the drink, not the concentration of alcohol in the blood (‰).
Wine versus beer
150 ml of wine at 12% contains less ethanol than 500 ml of beer at 5%. For a different volume or concentration, the order may change.

The catalog offers indicative percentages. If you need to compare a specific product, use the actual volume and ABV in the module below.
